Welcome to MSIT home page
MSIT®, Materials Science International Team is a network of materials scientists and laboratories competent in materials' constitution and the experimental & computer thermodynamics of materials. The team formed during the critical evaluation program, which resulted in the publication of the series Ternary Alloys. Topical monographs and a book series RED BOOK have been prepared since then and are also planned for the future. MSI controls these global efforts more and more with this Internet based workplace. The evaluation programs are also coordinated with other programs through APDIC, the Alloy Phase Diagram International Commission. MSIT® is a community of scientists highly competent in materials constitution, thermodynamics or crystallography in addition to their individual specific expertise. The joint competence of MSIT® serves an enormously wide field of materials science and applications. The team started in 1984 and celebrated its 30th Annual Workshop in February 2016. Among the MSIT® members there is always a limited number of post-doc and selected students working side by side with senior experts, during the annual workshops and in remotely ongoing project teams. MSIT organizes the MSIT Evaluation Programs, including Binary Evaluation Program and Ternary Evaluation Program. To join MSIT®, just take part in one of the MSIT Evaluation Programs. To take part in the MSIT Evaluation Programs please go to Register as Author in Binary Evaluation Program or Register as Author in Ternary Evaluation Program . "My Workplace" is a secure work area for authors, reviewers & editorial staff participating in the global MSIT program on critical evaluation of binary and ternary systems. The term MSIT® is on internationally registered trademark of MSI protecting the team. | Next Winter School |
