Best scientific paper award for MSIT member

APDIC awards its best paper prize for 2013 to....

...Dr. Olga Fabrichnaya. Olga and her co-authors received the award for their study of the phase relationships in the ZrO₂-Sm₂O₃-Y₂O₃-Al₂O₃ system (full citation here). Olga is world-renowned for her work on the modelling of oxide systems - which began many years ago when she was working at MPI at the Max Planck Institute in Stuttgart. In more recent years her work has taken her to Freiberg, but she continues her work in ceramic materials. Her experience in this field is immense and she brings invaluable expertise to the MSIT. Many congratulations Olga!
