The Advanced School Fee consists of two parts:
1) participation fee and
2) accommodation & meals.

Participation Fees

* Please note that 19% VAT will be added to the participation fee. According to Article 53 of Council Directive 2006/112/EC and §3a Abs. 3 Nr. 5 UStG (German VAT Act), the place of supply for services relating to admission to events, such as scientific conferences, is where the event takes place. As the MSIT Advanced School is being held in Germany, the participation fees are subject to German VAT. This rule applies irrespective of the participant’s country of origin.

Participation fee includes

  • welcome reception on 17.02.2025,
  • 2½ days of lectures,
  • comprehensive syllabus,
  • slides of the lectures for download as .pdf,
  • certificate of participation.


Payment Methods for the Participation Fee

Once your electronic registration has been received, you will receive confirmation of receipt. This does not yet represent the acceptance of your contract offer, but only informs you that your booking has been received. Registrations will be considered in the order they are received, as places are limited depending on the event. After the registration has been reviewed, MSI will confirm the registration in writing or text form via e-mail. With this confirmation your registration is legally binding. The confirmation email will include details of your registration and payment options. You will then have two weeks to pay the participation fee (by bank transfer, or credit card, or PayPal). Any bank transfer fee must be paid by the participant.   We will keep you informed by e-mail about the status of your registration.

Registration is opened till 10.12.2024. Number of places is limited.


Accommodation & Meals Fees of the Castle Ebernburg

Booking of accommodation and meals will be made by the organisers on behalf of the participants directly with the confirmation of your registration. The costs for accommodation and meals should be paid for at the castle, direct to the castle administration by the participants.

The full board rate includes:

  • 3 Nights with breakfast;
  • 6 Coffee-breaks (with snacks);
  • 3 Lunches;
  • 3 Dinners;
  • Table water with each meal;
  • Mineral water in the conference rooms;
  • Usage of conference facilities.

Additional beverages are charged separately. Vegetarian meals can be provided when ordered in advance, see registration form.  

Payment Methods for Accommodation Fees:

Bank transfer, EC-card (Maestro), cash. The costs for accommodation and meals should be paid for at the castle, direct to the castle administration by the participants. NB - Castle Ebernburg does not accept credit card payment!

Cancellation Policies

By registering, you agree to the MSI's General Terms & Conditions for Events and to the below Cancellation Policies 1) & 2).

1) Participation Cancellation Policy 

Cancellation of participation by the participant until 30.09.2024 is possible free of charge. For the cancellations received between 01.10.2024 and 10.12.2024 the processing fee is 20% of the participation fee. Cancellation must be made in writing (by letter or fax) or by e-mail. The date of the postmark/fax or the date of receipt of the e-mail is valid. After the cancellation deadline of 10.12.2024, 100% of the participation fee must be paid.
Substitutes can be made but please email new delegate details when known.

2) Accommodation Cancellation Policy 

Accommodation and meals fees should be paid at the castle, directly to the castle administration. Room reservations will be made by the meeting organisers on behalf of the participants.
In the case of cancellation made less than 60 days prior to the meeting, the administration of the Ebernburg castle requests a refund of the contractually agreed prices for all individual services ordered as follows:    
                 60 - 8 days before arrival: 60 % of the total price.
                 7 - 1 days before arrival: 80 % of the total price.
                 on the arrival day: 100% of the total price.

Payment of these costs is the responsibility of the participants.
