After your arrival at Stuttgart main station follow the large green S to the underground station of the S-Bahn. If you not already bought a ticket to Echterdingen, you can by a ticket for 3 zones at the ticket machines near the entrance of the S-Bahn station. All trains to Echterdingen leave at platform 101:
