Please note that 19% VAT will be added to the participation fee for all on-site participants. According to Article 53 of Council Directive 2006/112/EC and §3a Abs. 3 Nr. 5 UStG (German VAT Act), the place of supply for services relating to admission to events, such as scientific conferences, is where the event takes place. As the MSIT events are being held in Germany, the participation fees are subject to German VAT. This rule applies irrespective of the participant’s country of origin.
** VAT Regulations for ON-LINE Participation:
- For online participants from Germany: 19% VAT will be added to the participation fee.
- For online participants from the EU countries outside Germany, the VAT will be zero rated, provided that the participant submits valid European Union VAT-registration number of her/his organisation.
- For online participants outside the European Union the Value Added Tax is zero rated.

Payment Methods
Once your electronic registration has been received, you will receive confirmation of receipt. This does not yet represent the acceptance of your contract offer, but only informs you that your booking has been received. Registrations will be considered in the order they are received, as places are limited depending on the event. After the registration has been reviewed, MSI will confirm the registration in writing or text form via e-mail. With this confirmation your registration is legally binding. The confirmation email will include details of your registration and payment options. You will then have two weeks to pay the course fee (by bank transfer, or credit card, or PayPal). Any bank transfer fee must be paid by the participant. We will keep you informed by e-mail about the status of your registration.

Cancellation Policy for the Seminar on RE Materials & Magnet Technology on 18-19.11.2025
Cancellation of participation by the participant until 18.08.2025 is possible free of charge. For the cancellations received between 19.08.2025 and 19.09.2025 the processing fee is 20% of the participation fee. Cancellation must be made in writing (by letter or fax) or by e-mail. The date of the postmark/fax or the date of receipt of the e-mail is valid. For the cancellation recieved after 19.09.2025, 100% of the participation fee must be paid.
Substitutes can be made but please email new delegate details when known.
Booking and cancellation of accommodation is the responsibility of the participants and should be done by participants directly with the hotels.
