MSIT Winter Schools comprise lectures given by the MSIT members and invited experts on Phase diagrams, Classical and Computational Thermodynamics, and Crystallography and related applicational topics.

Registration is prolonged until 31.12.2023

Participants of the Winter School will be involved in the MSIT Workshop anyway, and so do not require separate registration for the Workshop.

Accommodation Reservation

Booking of accommodation and meals will be made by the organisers on behalf of the participants directly with the confirmation of the registration. The costs for accommodation and meals should be paid for at the castle, direct to the castle administration by the participants. Cancellation Policies

Registration Cancellation Policy

Cancellation should be made in writing (by letter or fax) or by e-mail. The date of the postmark/fax or the date of receipt of the e-mail is valid. A refund of participation fees (less 20% administrative processing charges) will be made for cancellations received before 04.12.2023. After the cancellation deadline of 04.12.2023, 100% of the participation fee must be paid. Substitutes can be made but please email new delegate details when known.

Accommodation Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of the booked accommodation & meals will be done by the organisers on behalf of the partcipant directly after receiving the Participation Cancellation. Please be aware that the cancellatiion policy of the Castle Ringberg is different from that of MSI GmbH for the partcipation fee. In the case of cancellation from the third month to two weeks before the start of the event, the castle administration requests a refund of 75% of the agreed price for all individual services ordered. In the case of cancellation made less than two weeks before the start of the event, the castle administration requests a refund of 100% of the agreed price for all individual services ordered.
Payment of these costs is the responsibility of the participants.
