APDIC meeting ratifies Industrial and Best paper awards

The annual APDIC meeting took place at the Hotel Mission Juriquilla, Querétaro, Mexico following the Calphad meeting that had that had been running for the previous week. As is customary, an important item on the Agenda was the ratification of the awards, which had been chosen by the appropriate subcommittees.

The 2018 Industrial award was presented to Toyota Central R&D Laboratories (Industrial Award page). The 2018 Best Paper award was presented to John Morral and Shuang-Lin Chen for their paper on 'High Entropy Alloys, Miscibility Gaps and Rose Geometry' published in the Journal of Phase Equilibria and Diffusion (Best Paper Award).
